Dr. Mohammad N. Azizi is a well-known technology economist and international development expert with track record achievements with the UN, USAID, World Bank, Government and Academia. He holds Ph.D from Okayama University and was former Fellow at Stanford University and UNITAR, Japan. He has over 15 years of professional experiences, managing projects in distinct sectors including information & communication technology and institutional development.  Currently Dr. Azizi serves Afghanistan Information Management Services (AIMS – www.aims.org.af) as Executive Director. Dr. Azizi is the team leader for the innovation support program and also serves as the Country Expert to the United Nations’ World Summit Awards. Mr. Azizi has served in different senior management and strategic positions. Before joining AIMS, he was the CEO with a consultancy & mining company.  At the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Azizi managed and operated the Afghanistan government budget valued over US$ 2 billion as the Director General of Budget Department. Since 1998, Dr. Azizi has been teaching in university the undergraduate and post graduate courses. He has served as Guest Professor at Kabul University and American University of Afghanistan. He is a skilled writer, editor and author of international development documents in a wide variety of sectors. He is multilingual and fluently speaks English, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Urdu and Japanese. Mr. Azizi regularly represents Afghanistan in international forums and also appears on electronic media and discusses the issues related to national, regional and international affairs on Aljazeera, CNN, BBC, VOA and local media. He has visiting, working and living - country experiences in Japan, France, Germany, United States, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Norway, India, and Denmark.

Shinta has pioneered a web company called Bubu.com in Indonesia in 1996. Today, that web company has evolved into Indonesia's leading Digital media Agency.  She has also been in the mobile content business for the past five years. 

So after a long track records in the dotcom, mobile and ICT industry, last year, she started a new venture with TELKOM Indonesia which is the biggest telecommunication company in Indonesia. So she is now the CEO, of a newly formed subsidiary of TELKOM GROUP called MOJOPIA, that focuses on the most trusted and biggest Ecommerce portal in Indonesia, Plasa.com.  The company basically will be responsible as well in designing content and Internet/digital roadmap in leveraging synergies of various companies within TELKOM group.

She is member of ASPILUKI (Software Association of Indonesia) and of the Committee in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) as the Vice to the Head of the Telecommunication IT and Media for Content and Application division.

Ananya Raihan is currently the Executive Director of D.Net (Development Research Network). Raihan started his professional career at Kharkov State University, Ukraine as an Assistant Professor in 1993. He also served as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a leading civil society think tank in Bangladesh. He immensely contributed at Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) as an Associate Professor and Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) as a consultant. Raihan has a diversified research interest which includes access to information and knowledge, international trade, financial sector reform, corporate social responsibility and SME development. He was awarded the Ashoka Fellowship in 2004 in recognition of his contribution as a social innovator in the area of ICT for the rural community.
Raihan is currently the secretary General of Bangladesh Telecentre Network (BTN), which aims to build up information and knowledge system for the poor and marginalsied by 2011 under its Mission 2011. As a researcher he performed professional works for a number of international and regional organisations including UNCTAD, WTO-ITC, SAARCFINANCE, OXFAM, CENTAD, SAPANA, SCCI, UNESCO and ICTSD. Raihan completed his MS in Economics (specialisation: Economic Cybernetics) in 1990 and was awarded Ph.D. in Economics in 1994 from V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics, National Academy of Science, Ukraine.
