DigiDis a safe and personal identification tool for citizens and companies dealing with government websites. DigID is a good example of simplifying legal administrative processes through the usage of newest technology. With the unique login for citizens, public administration and business, approximately 8 million users have access to 500 local, regional and national official services with one single sign-on. Additional communication features have been integrated – with SMS for authentication – allowing different forms of access to your personal government data.
DigID Improves the standards of government services and reduces paperwork for citizens and businesses in the Netherlands. Some examples of usage of the DigID application are requesting a driver’s license, paying local taxes, obtaining statements of state pension and future private pensions.
